New Charges Filed Against Woman from Jackson

MEDINA, Tenn.- A Gibson County woman who saw charges dropped against her in connection with a drug bust last year in Medina, is facing new charges.

According to court papers, Michelle Dean Allen is now charged with manufacture, delivery and possession of schedule two drugs with the intent to sell. She and four others were arrested at a house on Juno Cove on October 24 of last year in connection with meth charges.

Investigators said they found text messages between Allen and Wesley Hayes offering to trade her adderol prescription drugs, obtained through TennCare for other prescriptions drugs.

Drug task force members said the original charges against Allen were dropped.
