Additional charges have been filed against Cheryl Freeman Steward in connection with the killing of Henderson Police Captain Dennis Cagle in December of 2009.
The charges were part of a superseding indictment handed down by a federal grand jury, Monday.
The three additional counts all have to do with the gun used to kill Cagle.
The indictment alleges Steward gave false information to a Jackson sporting goods store when purchasing the gun that her husband, Ricky Lee Stewart, used to kill Cagle.
She is also accused of giving the gun to her husband with the knowledge that he was a convicted felon and drug user.
