JACKSON, Tenn.-The City of Jackson turned on two new traffic signals in downtown.

The new traffic lights, which began flashing at Noon, Friday, are in front of the new Jackson Walk Plaza at the intersections of Liberty and Highland and College and Highland.

They were installed to help with the additional traffic the new development will create.

The city engineering department said the lights will go fully operational starting Monday.
