North Side vs. USJ Scrimmage Action

JACKSON, Tenn.- Fresh off a 13-1 season, the Jackson North Side Indians returned to the gridiron for some preseason action, Friday.
as they took on USJ in some 7-on-7 action.
Despite losing quarterback Adam Craig and special teams player Jerry Neylon, the Indians still have high expectations.
Head coach Tab Vowell and his staff are ready to fill those voids.
"Preseason scrimmages are big. Finally compete against other players..for depth of reasons," said Erit Turner, North Side defensive line coach.
"It was good. First time we have a 7-on-7 competition this summer. It lets us know what we gotta get back to on Monday and we gotta work," said North Side Head Coach Tab Vowell.
The North Side Indians will open their season against Dyer County on August 23.
