Olivia Newton-John Performs with the Jackson Symphony

JACKSON, Tenn.- A well-known singer and actress, whose talents have entertained millions for more than four decades was in the Hub City, Thursday night.
Olivia Newton-John was in Jackson for a performance at the Carl Perkins Civic Center. She appeared along with the Jackson Symphony on stage as part of the organization's annual Legend's Benefit Concert Series, con-sponsored by WBBJ-TV, ABC/CBS 7.
The Australian singer, songwriter and actress performed some of her most memorable hits from her award winning albums and from the movies she starred in, Including "Grease" and "Xanadu. "
Thursday's special performance was actually Newton-John's second appearance here in West Tennessee.
She was in the Hub City in 2005 for the symphony's 'Legends' fundraiser.
