WHITEVILLE, Tenn- Police are investigating an arson incident in Hardeman County, after they said a woman allegedly set fire to her mother's house on Saturday.

According to Mike Dunavant, the District Attorney General, Elizabeth Robinson is being charged with aggravated arson after allegedly starting a fire at her mother's home while a minor was inside. Although there was no severe damage to the outside of the house and no one was hurt, investigators say it still classifies as arson.

"They're so nice that you don't believe anything would happen here," said Jeannette Cross, a neighbor.

Investigators said Robinson will not be officially charged until she is released from Western Mental Health facility in Bolivar, where she is undergoing mental investigation.
