One Dead after Fatal Crash in Weakley County

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn.- A wreck late Monday morning involving a road crew and another car in Weakley County has claimed one life and injured three others.

According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Melissa Davis, 36, of South Fulton ran into the back of a truck that had been patching pot holes along Highway 45, just north of Martin.

A 4-year-old in the car with Davis was injured as were the two people in the freightliner truck that was rear-ended.

The extent of their injuries were not reported.
