MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. - Madison County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for one man in connection with the theft of a DPF Filter off of a vehicle in the area of Interstate 40 and Highway 70. A woman is already in custody in connection with the case.

Deputies searched the area by ground and air from about 7:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.

7 Eyewitness News Reporter Caitlyn Jones found the DPF Filter (pictured to the left) that the pair reportedly attempted to steal laying on the ground underneath a pick-up truck.

Schools in the area (Nova Elementary and Liberty High School) were been provided additional deputies and officers during the search. Officials said there was no imminent threat to the schools, but the additional security was provided out of an abundance of caution.

We will have additional details as they become available.
