Pair Arrested and Charged with First Degree Murder

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. -- Two people have been arrested in connection with Sunday night's homicide that claimed the life of a Huntingdon father.

Larry Golden, 23, and Jermaine Crawford, 34, were arrested and charged with first degree murder on Tuesday night about a day after arrest warrants for the pair were issued.

The victim, 26 year-old Houston Dewayne Brown was shot on Sunday at 328 Hunt Street at around 11:54 p.m Sunday, according to Capt. Johnny Hill with Huntingdon Police Department.

Brown was taken in a personal vehicle to Baptist Hospital of Huntingdon, where he later died.

The investigation is ongoing.
