PARIS, Tenn. - Paris police can now monitor what goes on inside all three schools of the Paris Special School District without ever leaving the police station.

Wednesday, the video monitoring system went live allowing Paris dispatchers and officers to monitor the schools in real-time using a fiber optic connection donated by the Paris Board of Utilities.

School district officials can monitor the cameras as well, even on mobile devices. The Henry County School System is also in the process of installing equipment that will allow officers to monitor its schools as well.
