Paris Woman Killed in Morning House Fire

HENRY CO. Tenn.- A Paris woman died Sunday morning after she rushed into her home to put out a fire.

Henry County Sheriff, Monte Belew, tells WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News Patsy Evans was outside her home when the blaze started, and rushed inside to try to put it out.

Sheriff Belew says a man saw Evan run into the burning house, and rushed inside to safe her. Belew says although he was able to get her out, Emergency crews were unable to revive her.

Investigators say they are working to find out the cause of the fire.
