Pepper Sentenced for Robbery of Paris Salon

JACKSON, Tenn. - A Kentucky woman who entered a guilty plea in a robbery case in federal court has been sentenced.

According to court documents, Christl Pepper was sentenced last week for her role in the robbery of Salon Effects in Paris in 2011. Police accused Pepper and her boyfriend Robert Cunningham, Jr. with the armed robbery.

Pepper was sentenced to serve seven years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release. She will also have to complete a 500 hour drug program and pay restitution.

Pepper and Cunningham are the same two people who were allegedly involved in the shooting of Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Dwayne Stanford in September 2011. Stanford was shot after he pulled the pair over during a traffic stop. Cunningham was killed in the gun battle.
