Police Investigating Shooting in East Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. - Jackson police are investigating a shooting in East Jackson.

Officers were called to the Lincoln Street area at around 2:45 p.m., Monday.

Early reports indicate a 17 year old boy was shot in the right side head. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he is being treated.

A woman was also shot and suffered a graze wound to the leg.
