Police: Man Choked Girlfriend's Dog, Charged with Domestic Assault

JACKSON, Tenn.- A Jackson man is free on $3,000 bond, accused of getting so angry at his girlfriend that he chocked her dog and threatened to kill it.

Marcus Taylor, 35, faces charged of cruelty to animals and domestic vandalism. According to court papers, he got into a fight with his girlfriend early yesterday morning.

Police said he admitted to flipping over her bed, kicking in a door and chocking her dog. His next court date is November 26. I
