Police: Man Claimed Forced from Car at Gunpoint

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson police are looking for suspects after a man said he was forced from his car at gunpoint at a busy north Jackson intersection. Investigators said they are looking into the incident that was reported to them around 1:30, Saturday morning.

Jackson police said an officers found an abandoned car at the intersection of North Highland and Carriage House Drive.

Minutes later, the officer said a man approached him claiming he had been forced from his car at gunpoint by two unknown men.

The victim told police the suspects took him behind a nearby business, assaulted him, robbed him of cash and then left the area. Police said they do not believe this was a random act.
