Police Release Surveillance Photos in Goldline Robbery

Jackson, Tenn. – Police have released new surveillance pictures of an armed robbery at a Jackson convenience store.

The photos are from the June 28 robbery of the Goldline at 1819 US 45 Bypass. Investigators said the man entered the store around 9:00 a.m. After the clerk asked him to remove his hood several times, he allegedly pulled out a gun and demanded money. The thief reportedly took the money from the register and a stun gun from the clerk before running from the store toward a nearby hotel.

Police described the robber as a black man, 5' 5" to 5' 7" in height, weighing 150 to 170 pounds. He was wearing dark jeans and some type of tight-fitting cap on his head underneath a dark hoodie at the time of the robbery. The gun was described as a long-barrel black revolver.
