HENDERSON, Tenn.- The 77th annual Bible Lecture Series at Freed-Hardeman University has wrapped up its second day.
The lectureship will look at the great characters of faith and other figures from the books of the Bible and the lessons contemporary Christians can draw for their own lives.
Bible classes and lectures throughout the week will give special attention to youth ministers and Bible class teachers.
"The Bible knowledge is amazing. I mean, you get to sit and listen to some of the great, great preachers in the brotherhood at the time and you get to just sit and study the Bible for a week, and you don't really get that opportunity all the time so it's just kind of a refresher," said
Youth minister Jon David Schwartz.
More than 120 men and women will speak during the week.
