JACKSON, Tenn.- Wait before you touch those downed trees.

Experts said wind places a load on trees, including trunks, branches and roots. The different lengths and sizes of tree branches can cause some serious injuries if you are not careful.

A local arborist said you may want to go to a professionally trained tree worker because they know what to look out for when removing debris.

"A professional tree care company is going to have the right tools for the job, right insurance coverage. Their crew members are going to be highly trained," said arborist Sam Spence.
