JACKSON, Tenn. - The Regional Inter-Faith Association is celebrating its Saturday grand opening of its thrift store, at its new location.
Starting Saturday, RIFA's thrift store and donation center will be open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the first time.
Officials said not only do they have more convenient hours, but their new location on Airways Boulevard has plenty of parking, and a drive-thru donation area, making the store accessible to both shoppers and donors.
Workers said being open on Saturday is a big milestone.
Officials said they received $100,000 in one big donation.
They said that donation will go toward their capital campaign, which will free up regular donations they use to operate.
