Rape Charge Filed Against One-Time Restaurant Owner

TRENTON, Tenn.- An investigation into the owner of a Humboldt restaurant at the center of controversy over non-payment to his employees revealed something even more shocking.

According to court papers, a charge of rape of a child was filed against Demetri Saltz, 21. He was accused of raping an 8-year-old boy during a sleep-over in February.

Saltz is free on a $150,000 bond. He was scheduled to return to court in Gibson County on this charge, next Wednesday.
