Six television set thefts throughout Henderson County have been reported over the past two weeks according to the sheriff's office.

Investigators say most of the stolen TV's were new high priced sets. They believe one person or possibly a crime ring is responsible.

Although they're difficult to track down, Sheriff Brian Duke says people should keep records of their serial number in case they're recovered.

"The first thing we always wanna ask is do you have the serial number written down. That's an easy way and quick way to watch the owners and the property," said Sheriff Duke.

If you have any information on who may be responsible for the rash of burglaries, contact the Henderson County Sheriff's Department.
