Rent One Employees Give the Gift of Knowledge

SOUTH JACKSON -- Instead of getting gifts, workers at Rent One locations across West Tennessee gave a big gift to area children, Monday.

Throughout the year, employees have donated to a fund. That money, plus a double match by Rent One was donated to the Jackson-Madison County Library's Imagination library program.

The total amount totaled $5,000.

"There is some children that may not actually be able to go and get those books without donations like this and starting them early reading gets them on the right path towards education," Russell Law, manager at Rent One said.

Imagination library was founded by Dolly Pardon. The program provides a free book every month of a child's life for the first five years.
