MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. - Several complaints have come into the Adamsville Police Department about suspicious door-to-door salesmen trying to force their way into homes.

Police Chief Jerry Christopher said the complaints are not concentrated in one particular neighborhood.

He said the traveling salesmen are from a company called Kenny & Associates, and are not taking "NO" for an answer.

Chief Christopher said the group of three salespeople are trying to force there way into homes to sell their product.

"If we have any complaints I will come to them and tell them there messing up they need to kindly start doing what they're supposed to do selling from door-to-door," said Chief Christopher.

Chief Christopher said the company applied for a 14-day business license, but he said if they apply again, they will be denied.
