Running of a Bull in Madison County

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. -- Deputies spent their Wednesday morning chasing a wayward bull.

This young bull got out of it's fence for the second day in a row and walked to a nearby neighborhood. Residents say he walked around grazing in their front yards.

Owners tell us their fence was damaged in storms and they haven't been able to fix the entire thing.

Neighbors were concerned that the bull would wonder onto Highway 412 just yards away from where he was hanging out.

"We just kept feeding it bread and it was eating a lot of the foliage around the house and just kept trying to shew it back if it was trying to leave." said resident Michelle Cox.

The owners of the bull say they sold him. They're just waiting on the new owner to pick it him up.
