Saturday Morning Stabbing Sends Man to the Hospital

JACKSON, Tenn.- Jackson Police say a man was transported to the hospital early Saturday morning after being stabbed.

Officers responded to 149 Pine Street around 12:20 a.m. after Brenda McKinney, 46, allegedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend in the upper left chest with a butcher knife.

The victim was transported to Jackson General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries according to authorities. McKinney has been charged with aggravated domestic assault. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.

McKinney is currently being held at the Madison County Jail on $50,000 bond.
