JACKSON, Tenn. – The Jackson-Madison County School Board set forth an ambitious schedule for hiring a new superintendent, Thursday.

The board met in a special called session to discuss a variety of matters related to the search including what they want out of their new superintendent and how much money they will make each year.

The search will be conducted by BWP and Associates. They plan to lauch the first advertisments to encourage applicants for the position next week.

School board members plan to have the first round of interviews completed in December. They hope to have a contract on the table for their choice for superintendent by the end of January 2013.
