A year ago Friday, 20-year-old Holly Bobo vanished from her home in Decatur County, taken into the woods by a man wearing camouflage.

Scotts Hill High School students, staff and friends released balloons in honor of Holly.

Investigators believe her kidnapper knew her schedule and planned the abduction.

Randy Hart, who was Holly’s math teacher, said, “I hope they can just remember that Holly was a very sweet young lady, that she touched the lives of so many people and that she’ll be remembered, and that some day she’ll be found and that people can once again know what a great person she was.”

There is a $250,000 reward for information leading to Holly’s return.
