Selmer Asking Residents To Conserve Water

SELMER, Tenn. - Due to the dry weather, the City of Selmer is asking residents to limit their outside water use.

The Selmer Utility Department issued a notice on Friday stating the extreme heat and lack of rain as reasons for the conservation.

They are asking all customers not to use water outside until further notice.

Mayor Robinson said this is not a mandatory notice, but he hopes everyone will conserve their water.

Mayor Robinson said if you don't need it please don't use it.
