A Milan man suspected of raping six girls between the ages of 13 and 15 has been arrested, and officers fear more victims could be out there.

Police are calling him a serial sex offender, even though he has no records of previous arrests.

The parents of the suspect, Allen Williams, 19, would not talk to 7 Eyewitness News on camera, but said their son is not a bad kid, and never got into trouble. They said he is mentally disabled, and did not know better.

Milan police said it all started March 12, when they got a call from a concerned mother about some disturbing text messages. But they said her daughter was not the only one.

"He's been texting and Facebooking a lot of 13 to 15-year-old girls in our community," said Captain Terry Jones with the Milan Police Department.

According to investigators, there were at least six victims, and some went to Milan Middle School.

They said Williams is charged with 18 different counts including statutory rape, rape and solicitation.

"Some of them he actually went to their homes and met their parents. Some of them he would ask them to sneak out and just meet them various places," Jones said.

Police said they arrested Williams after an officer pretended to be a 13-year-old girl he texted.

Officials said Williams may have known some of the victims, and others he found on Facebook.

"He would just start talking to them and ask them if they wanted to go out, telling them how beautiful they were and could they meet him somewhere. He'd like to get to know them better, and he was aware of their ages," Jones said.

Williams is in jail in lieu of $250,000 bond.

Police are asking any other potential victims to contact their nearest law enforcement agency.

Williams' next court appearance is in Milan General Sessions Court on Wednesday at 10 a.m.
