JACKSON Tenn.- Consultants with the search firm BWP & Associates revealed their six candidates for the Jackson-Madison County School System's Superintendent position, Monday night.

Three candidates Dr. Dan Lawson, Dr. Terence Patterson and Dr. Tim Webb are from Tennessee. Two others, Dr. Neyland Clark and Dr. Karyle Green are from Indiana. The last candidate, Dr. Verna Ruffin currently lives in Oklahoma.

"They all have good experience and good qualities. Judging form what we have seen so far anyone of them would probably do a good job," said Chairman of the School Board David Clifft.

Each candidate will get an hour and a half interview with the board. Interviews will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The six candidates will be asked the same 19 predetermined questions.

"The consultants gave us a list of suggested questions. From that list, we chose the ones we wanted to use and made a few changes to some of them," said Clifft.

A meeting has been set for Monday, December 17, to chose the top three candidates.
