"Sovereign Citizens" Arrested in Downtown Jackson
DOWNTOWN JACKSON -- Jackson police made an unusual arrest downtown on Tuesday evening.
The suspects, who claimed to be sovereign citizens, were officially charged Wednesday for resisting arrest.
Officers arrested Dustin Bryce Rodondich and Xylie Eschleman, though officers noted in their reports they aren't sure that's really their names because they refused to provide identification.
The tag on the back of their white Jaguar (pictured) is why they were pulled over.
Police say the two refused to get out of the car and locked the doors to try and keep officers out.
