The local business community and students got some inspiring advise on how to operate using Christian values, Tuesday.

The chairman of Schilling Enterprises in Memphis, Harry Smith spoke at Union University's Business Through the Eyes of Faith luncheon. He encouraged the attendees to integrate Christian faith into their workplace, whether they are business owners or employees.

Smith said he believes that forming relationships is the most valuable tool anyone can have in their career and in life.

"If people know you care about them, it's okay," said Smith. "They don't care how much you know. They care about how much you care, and if you care about them, it's okay."

Union University has hosted the Business Through the Eyes of Faith even annually for the past years.
