Stolen Car Leads Police on High Speed Chase

JACKSON Tenn.- Jackson Police say a stolen vehicle led them on a high speed chase throughout Madison county on Sunday night.

Officers say a man left his car running at a car wash on Lexington Avenue to go inside the business, when his car was taken.

Jackson Police say they spotted the blue 2000 Mercedes S-500 on North Highland Ave., and attempted to stop it.

According to officers, Police chasing the car ended the pursuit near Humboldt for safety reasons. Police tell us they were entering a populated area at dangerous speeds.
