LEXINGTON, Tenn. - Most West Tennessee students may be enjoying their last few days of summer break, but Henderson County kids are already back in the classrooms.

Henderson County and Lexington students had their first full day back at school on Tuesday.

At Lexington High School, seniors were ready to start their last year of high school at a school assembly.

At Westover Elementary, most of the kids were excited to be back with their friends. There is also a new access road to their campus this year and officials said it will allow easier access for people driving to the school on Highway 412.

Administrators say the first day of school is always hectic, but things are running smoothly.
