JACKSON, Tenn.- The second round of interviews for superintendent of schools in Jackson-Madison County will begin Monday at City Hall.

Officials said this will give the public and opportunity to ask the candidates questions directly and give their input.

Verna Ruffin will be the first to be interviewed, followed by Terrence Patterson on Tuesday and Alan Coverstone on Wednesday.
All of the interviews will begin at 4 p.m. and are expected to end between 5:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.

After each public interview and dinner, the board will begin their interview with the candidate, which is also open to the public.

The school board's regularly scheduled meeting for January will be held on Thursday.
