Jackson police and fire officials said new surveillance video from the east Jackson gas station that burned up last week proves the fire was no accident. Now officers need help finding the people responsible.

In the video, two men are seen breaking a window and climbing through a front window of the Exxon-Mobil on East Chester Street. One of the men jumps over the counter and starts taking money from underneath. Next the other man jumps over the counter and steals even more cash. They quickly exit the store from the same window they entered.

Then just seconds later, a fire bomb of some sort is tossed inside the building. In just a few minutes, the fire turned into a blaze engulfing the entire inside of the store. Investigators say there may have had another accomplice.

"There is possibly another third suspect that is seen in a white vehicle in close proximity to the business that left shortly after the fire department was called," said Investigator Dewayne McClain of the Jackson Police Department.

If you have any information on who these people might be, contact the Jackson Police Department at (731) 425-8400 or the State Bomb and Arson Hot-line at 1-800-762-3017.
