TCA Introduces New Baseball Coach

JACKSON, Tenn.- Trinity Christian Academy has a new Head Lion in charge of its baseball program.

Tuesday, Johnny Growe was announced as the new head coach.
His previous experience includes 31 years coaching at South Side High School in Jackson, with 29 of those years spent a head coach.

Growe said out of the 200 young men he has coached, more 40 went to play at the college level and he feels this job is a part of destiny.

"With any new job or change there is gonna be an amount of anxiety that goes with it, some nervousness but I'm very excited I feel like this is where the lord placed me and looking forward to working with a great group of people," said Johnny Growe,TCA's newly named baseball coach.

The coach took over the team Tuesday and told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he was ready to hit the ground running.
