TDOT Pretreating Roads in Case of Freezing Rain

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Tennessee Department of Transportation workers who are busy across the area preparing for the forecast of ice and snow.

TDOT crews loaded their trucks and began brining interstates and state highways, with the most heavily traveled roadways first. A spokesman said crews will work until all roads are treated.

Also, depending on when the system comes, they will have crews report back around midnight and monitor the situation and do what is necessary to help keep the roads free of ice and snow, should it come
