JACKSON, Tenn.-.A ruling Wednesday by the Madison County Juvenile Court Judge sends the case of a 17-year-old accused in a March shooting to adult court.
Hentrick Long is charged with attempted first degree murder and a weapons count. A grand jury will decide if he should stand trial.
In March, Long is accused of walking up to a man sitting outside an apartment along Carver Street and opening fire.
The victim was hit in the hand and leg but has since recovered.
Police said another gunman was with Long that night and are still trying to identify him.
