JACKSON, Tenn. - Tennessee State Guard officials held their annual Christmas Ball in Jackson, Saturday night.

Officials met at the Double Tree Hotel for dinner and a ceremony that celebrated past year's accomplishments. Guard officials said they are proud of the men and women who volunteer to answer the call, both at home and abroad.

"It's also to recognize the services of all the active and reserve National Guard components that currently serve our Nation throughout the world," said Kenneth Takasaki, Tennessee State Guard Commanding General.
