MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Another heat related death has been reported in West Tennessee.
On Sunday night, the Shelby County Health Department confirmed the third heat related death in their county so far this year.
Health officials said heat contributed to the death of a 62-year-old woman found in her Memphis home late last week.
According to officials, her air conditioner was working, but it was not turned on, and only two fans were running in her home.
The temperature inside was 91 degrees.
Two other Shelby County residents died from the heat this week.
Nationwide, at least 35 heat related deaths have been reported.
