Third Man Arrested in Monday Shooting Incident

The Jackson man wanted in connection with a shooting earlier this week has turned himself into police.
Jonathan Woodruff, 20, turned himself in Tuesday evening. He appeared in Jackson City Court, Wednesday morning. He is charged with one count of aggravated assault and is now free on $40,000.
Woodruff is accused of shooting at, but missing a man as he was leaving an apartment along Old Hickory Boulevard just before midnight, Monday morning.
Michael Cole faces the same charge of aggravated assault. Police said he fired a shotgun and hit the man.
The victim, Matthew Ladewig, was also charged with one count of simple domestic assault. Police say he hit his girlfriend after finding her inside Cole's apartment. Records show Ladewig pleaded guilty and was sentenced to one day in jail.
