Third Victim in Union City Fire Dies

UNION CITY, Tenn. - The third victim from a house fire in Obion County last week has died.

The Union City Fire Department told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News that 76-year-old Mary Jackson, who was severely burned in the fire, died at the MED in Memphis Saturday night.

On Friday, Union City firefighters responded to a fire at a home on East Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.

Jackson's son and daughter, 54-year-old Lola Jackson Holland and 61-year-old Henry Jackson, Jr. were both found dead in the living room, only steps away from the front door.

Firefighters are still investigating the cause of the fire.

Family members said they are planning a memorial service for all three victims next Saturday at Saint John #2 M.B. Church in Tiptonville at 11 a.m.
