Three West Tennessee Sites Finalists for New 4-H Camp

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn.- Camp Hazlewood in Henry County has been formally designated as one of three finalist as the site for the proposed 4-H Youth Education and Conference Center.

Hazlewood will be in competition with a Hardeman County site which is currently an active cattle farm, and a private site on the new Carroll County Lake. The three sites were selected from among 19 proposals.

The planned development will cost and estimated $37-million and include 4-H facilities, natural agricultural developments, as well as a corporate conference center.
