Toys For Needy Children Being Collected by The Farm

HUNTINGDON, Tenn- A Carroll County radio station, The Farm 100.9 FM, is not only giving to kids in need but also to those who donate to the cause.

It's called the "The Christmas Tree of Cash." It's decorated with envelopes of money; but what's underneath is the real reward.

"It's beyond imagination how good it feels to donate toys to put underneath this tree," said The Farm radio personality, Bo Weevil.

The Farm is teaming up with the Exchange-Club Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse, The Carroll Bank and Trust, and City Drug Company to give away toys to kids in need. The toy drive caters to children in Carroll, Benton, and Henry counties.

Last year more than 1,000 toys and 70 bicycles were donated to "The Christmas Tree of Cash". Organizers say they're hoping to give to even more children this holiday season.

You can donate to the "Christmas Tree of Cash" through Dec. 14th. at The Farm radio station in Huntingdon.
