JACKSON, Tenn.-It Is a nine-year old tradition for one Jackson family, spreading the love that was shown to them years ago.

Each year the Thaxton family comes to Jackson-Madison County General Hospital to give stuffed animals to babies and children in the pediatric center.

They said it is a way to pay it forward after all the love they were shown 12 years ago when their daughter, Treasure was born prematurely.

"I know sometimes when you're behind these walls in a hospital people are helping you but when somebody else comes in to show you love and to just give you a bear or something. It really pumps you up and lets you know that everything is gonna be alright," said Gregory Thaxton, Treasure's father.

Friday, the family delivered 60 stuffed animals to children at the hospital.
