McNairy County deputies arrested Joshua Purvis, Wednesday night, in association with a recent string of burglaries in the area but are now in pursuit of another suspect.

Sheriff Guy Buck says after Purvis was arrested, officials in Chester County located two other suspects in the burglaries headed towards Henderson County. Henderson County deputies say they attempted to arrest the two, Christopher Little and Tabitha Purvis, when they fled from their vehicle. They were able to capture Purvis, but Little jumped into a trench and then ran off into a wooded area.

"Yesterday, after the original stop I think we searched the area for two or three hours and we feel like he's pretty much made his way out of the area," said Henderson County Sheriff Brian Duke.

Christopher Little was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, blue jean shorts, and a ball cap. If you have seen him or know his whereabouts, contact the Henderson County Sheriff's Department at (731) 968-5266 or McNairy County Sheriff's Department at (731) 645-3406.
