Two Jackson Men Arrested on Drug Charges

JACKSON, Tenn. - Two men are behind bars on drug charges after narcotics investigators said they served a search warrant on a home in East Jackson.

Jackson-Madison County narcotics officers said they arrested Tyler Banes, and Robert Bailey, Jr. at a home on First Street, Tuesday, after finding more than nine grams of crack cocaine, more than four grams of marijuana, digital scales, and drug packaging materials.

Banes was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell or distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Bailey was charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Investigators said the drugs they seized are worth about $925.
