Two Killed in McNairy County Crash

MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn.- The Tennessee Highway Patrol reports two people are dead and two other injured following a two-car crash in McNairy County, Saturday morning.
According to investigators, the crash happened around 11:30 a.m. on Highway 22 at Hubert Manui Road near Michie.
The THP reports showed on car was traveling north when it crossed over into the opposite lane and hit a car traveling south, resulting in a near hear-on collision.
The driver of the northbound car, Billy Vunkannon, 31, of Corinth,Mississippi, as well as the driver of the southbound car, Angela Richardson, 48, of Michie were killed in the crash.
Two passengers, one in each vehicle were injured .
Investigators said neither driver was wearing their safety belts.
