Two Teens Shot in East Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. - Jackson Police are investigating a shooting that sent two teenagers to the hospital.

Police said they got a call from a fellow officer, after he heard shots fired in the area where he was patrolling around 6:30 p.m. Friday.

Police said they responded to the 200 block of Phillips Street, after finding two males, ages 15 and 17, who were shot in the feet.

The victims told police they were standing outside near Everett Street and Holland Avenue, when a two-door burgundy car pulled up, and started shooting at them.

Two men were reportedly inside of the car. One of them had dreadlocks.

Both victims were transported to the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

Police have made no arrests.
